MORISHITA "IBU" IBUKI
nickname;; Sohn, or "Super"
age;; 17
other characters;; None!
how you found us;; The generous and almighty admin posted a link on HH
code;; It's Morphin' Time! (I think)
character's name;; Morishita Ibuki
nicknames;; Ibu, Morishita
character's age;; 23
height, weight, and body type;; Roughly 5'7" tall, and weighs 60 lbs. He's quite a skinny person, with very slim limbs and a very square body. Not much muscle on that frame.
distinguishing features;; Nope
general appearance;; Ibuki takes it on himself to look very professional in the workplace, keeping his sleek, jet-black hair fairly neat and slicked back out of his eyes, and wearing a pair of red glasses at all times. Outside of work, he literally lets his hair down so that it appears long and messy. Generally, as a rule, he makes an attempt to be clean shaven. He has no scars of any sort, what with not seeing much action.
play by;; Jun Matsumoto
group;; EMC staff
general personality;; Ibuki comes across a very friendly individual, if a bit shy. He's quite trusting of the people he meets, and only hopes that they show him the kindness that he shows them. He is quite sensitive and easily takes offense. He's very dedicated to his job. Being one of the staff in charge of the Go-Busters, he doesn't get to work with many people, save for Nakamura and Kuroki, and of course, the aforementioned Go-Busters. Having worked with the Go-Busters since they were young, he's very protective of them. He is quite prone to manly tears and high emotion. Bringing up his uncle is always a touchy subject at best. It brings forth the manly tears. He always does attempt to keep under control when it does come up.
Fears;; Metaroids, contact lenses, fire
Goals;; Defeat Vaglass, afford a nice house in town, reunite with his uncle
Quirks;; His most noticeable quirk is that he constantly spins a silver pen around in his hand when he's at his desk. In fact, he's so good at it, he doesn't even have to look away from the screen while he's doing it. It drives a lot of people crazy. His main interest is writing stories, which he feels keeps him occupied if he's ever bored.
family and friends;;
- Go-Busters- friends-known them since they were young (or in Iwasaki's case, old)
- Hinaru Morishita, Aizuki Morishita, Mei Morishita- Mother, father, little sister respectively
- Kuroki, Nakamura-co-workers and friends
history;;
If the life and times of Ibuki could be summed up in a couple of words, it would be "dull with a twist". But there's so much more to it than that. He was born within city limits, to a couple of technicians. They...didn't exactly have a lot of money, and sometimes they were unable to afford some of life's higher pleasures. That all changed when Ibuki's uncle got a job working Enertron, which paid quite high. He began to support the family, giving them that all-important cash boost. Out of that mutually beneficial relationship came a quit close family bond between Ibuki and his uncle.
As a teenager, he expressed an interest in joining the EMC, when his uncle was placed there for a new job. To his horror, however, his uncle was one of the scientists that vanished on the night of Messiah's attack, when the EMC facility was sent to Hyper-space. Ibuki wasn't expecting to hear anything like that. At all. He cried for days on end once he heard. But his resolve was never stronger.
He desperately wanted to get his uncle back, so when the opportunity came to join the ranks of the Energy Management Center, he relished the opportunity. He started work as a software developer for them, but was later reassigned to the Go-Buster project and the Special Missions Unit, as part of the staff. In that time, he worked closely with the upcoming Go-Busters, becoming a friend to them as well as their co-worker.
"Boss, bad news." Ibuki said, the computer screen reflected in the square lenses of his glasses. As was normal, his trusty silver pen was in his left hand, spinning around like an oscillating fan. "Metaroids have been spotted on the local surveillance channel." he tapped a couple of buttons on the keyboard, and the view changed to a digital vortex appearing in the air. "There's more. Megazord inbound. Should take roughly..." the sound of tapping on a keyboard filled the air again "...20 minutes, 37 seconds. Enough time to deploy the Go-Busters." At his words, a timer appeared in the corner of the screen, counting down from 20:37, right down to the microseconds. That was one of the benefits of working in a top-secret semi-military installation: accurate clocks.
