He ended up leaving his food mostly untouched, since it wasn't first nature to eat anymore. He spent more attention on the movie, and on Midori.

Midori ate pretty slow, paying a lot of attention to the movie. However many times she watched it - and a number of others - she never failed to get completely drawn into it. Maybe it was the acting, maybe it was the effects, or the fact that you only got to see Sadako near the end, and it was all back story and suspense, at least to her. But, either way, it was the reason it was one of her favourite movies.

He took no issue with the movie as he watched. He had nothing in recent memory to compare it to, however. He let it stand on its own as a result, and would make an opinion at the end.
